My husband and I own Leo Construction, Inc. and last year due to expansion and growth, we finally decided to move to a larger office in downtown Rockland and contemplated hiring additional office staff. That seemed costly and since I was already working for him full time, we really just needed someone to help with the tasks of daily office errands and related errands. Sara Spencer, aka The Errand Girl! came into my life just over a year ago when I was facing the unexpected death of my husband, a move from a 12 room house to a 3 room apartment, and major surgery due to the accident. It would take volumes to describe everything Sara did for me during this difficult time, but suffice it to say, I couldn't have managed without her.
No job was too big or too small for Sara. She was ALWAYS dependable and punctual and had the uncanny ability of finding manageable solutions for even the most overwhelming tasks. When Sara says she can do just about anything, she means it. She helped me decorate my new apartment, picked out great food when I had guests and shopped on line for hard to find items I wanted or needed. Pretty much the only direction she had from me for any of this was to just get something I'd like. Knowing she would really reduced a lot of stress.
Sara will always have a key to my home for when I go away so she can take care of things and a place in my heart as well. I can honestly say that she has never let me down and is worth every penny of the rates she charges.

Sara saved my neck, that day! I'm an electrical contractor and, early that morning, I had driven to a job 25 miles from nowhere. About 10 minutes after I got to the job, I realized I was short by a few specific parts and without them, I wouldn't be able to finish the installation that day. The customer's productivity would suffer and so would my professional reputation. I had about 2 hours before I would need those parts, but no time to drive the 60 mile round trip to the one place that could supply them. I called Sara...I think I got her out of bed...and described what I needed and where to get it. 90 minutes later I had the parts. The customer never knew the difference, the project was a great success, and my reputation was intact.
Since that day, I have relied on Sara many more times, because even the best plan can occasionally overlook something. I have also put her poster up at the electrical distributor's counter, knowing that I am not the only one who can benefit from her services.
